Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination

 The civil services (preliminary) examination (objective type) will be held for the screening and selection of the candidates for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination. Every candidate is asked to choose their preference of services before the interview. IFS written Exam consist of two successive stages that are preliminary exam and main Exam. After qualifying both examinations, candidates will be shortlisted for interview and selection of the shortlisted candidates will be made on their performance in interview..

The paper will also include questions on Indian Polity including the political system and the Constitution of India, History of India and Geography of a nature which candidate should be able to answer without special study
